I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 1993 (and possibly chronic fatigue syndrome) and ulcerative colitis in 1987, after symptoms beginning in 1980. With the assistance and support of my husband, I struggled until age 62 so I could retire with reduced social security and also disability for three years. I can identify so very well with your struggles. Proud of you for becoming able to gain full-time employment! Now I'm grieving the death of my spouse from cancer in November 2022.
