Very interesting to think that just by getting better at explaining how we feel, we can improve our relationships and understand ourselves more.

I was surprised there are as many as 87 emotions. Wow! Not too long ago, I realised I'm not very good at expressing negative emotions; I usually supress them. And I started learning how to release them through quick exercises of body movement. It's been a long journey but I do see some improvement.

Yes to all of this! It is so important and yet we lack the capacity to name our emotions. And as you might of guessed, I love St. Brene! I haven't seen the HBO special yet, I'll have to check that out.

Hi Tracy, we're travel to our family so I have some time to read your stories.

Loved this. So powerful (as your pub).

I think the backstory is important. There's also some backstory that triggers emotions. My parents are divorced and I say one word that reminds them of their marriage and BOOM! It triggers "I'm pissed off".

Of course there's more to it.

The got divorced 24 ! years ago. Why still getting mad?
